My family sessions are relaxed, connection-driven, and shaped around what makes your family unmistakably yours. We will laugh, move, explore, and create polished portraits while leaving plenty of room for the real moments in between.
I will guide you throughout the session, so there is no pressure to know how to pose or what to do. Just bring your people and be yourselves.

✨ Golden Hour Glow – Family Session ✨
Golden hour gives us warm light, softer skies, and a beautiful setting for portraits that feel polished without feeling stiff. During this full one-hour session, we will create a varied collection of your entire family, smaller groupings, individual portraits, and the natural moments that happen in between.
I will guide you through posing, movement, and expression while giving your family room to laugh, connect, and settle into the experience. The result is a gallery that feels refined, personal, and unmistakably yours.

✨ A Day in the Life – Lifestyle Session ✨
This extended session is for families who want more than a traditional portrait gallery. With a full 90 minutes, we have time to slow down, follow your family’s natural rhythm, and create a richer story of this season of your life.
Your session can take place at home, outdoors, or somewhere your family genuinely enjoys. We might bake together, play in the backyard, explore the shoreline, curl up on the couch, or simply spend time together while I photograph the connection, personality, and little details that make your family yours.
I will still offer direction when it is needed. Nothing will feel stiff or overly staged. The gallery will include beautifully composed portraits alongside the honest expressions and in-between moments you never realize you will miss until they are gone.

✨ The Full Story – Extended Session ✨
This is the most complete Shari Larson Studios family experience, created for larger families, milestone celebrations, and generations coming together in one place.
With up to two hours, there is time to create beautifully composed portraits of the entire family, individual households, grandparents with grandchildren, siblings, couples, and the relationships that deserve their own moment. We can also include outfit changes, short breaks, and more than one nearby location without rushing through the experience.
I will guide every grouping, pose, and transition while leaving room for the laughter, personality, and unexpected moments that make your family unmistakably yours.
